Staff dressed in Victorian clothes shared cake and coffee with customers of more than 60 years.
A mother who was called by the bank for a ‘five minute’ call while in labour also attended with her now five-week-old baby boy.

Hide AdKevin Guy, 44, Natwest’s regional district branch manager for the South East, said: “I don’t know of another branch that’s been open this long, so it’s incredibly historic.”
He added that the branch will have a new wifi and mobile app area in a couple of months.
Stewart Mackman, 55, who grew up in Horsham and attended Collyer’s school, has worked for the bank for 37 years.
He said: “The community spirit in Horsham works really well here. It’s a friendly and fairly unique branch.”

Hide AdTracey Blanchard, 42, of Barns Green, the branch’s chief cashier who has worked there for more than 20 years and has occasional cups of coffee with her customers, said: “It’s great. Good staff, great customers and we all have our regulars.”
