Goodwood has confirmed that the iconic Festival of Speed at Chichester, West Sussex, WILL go ahead on Sunday July 16 despite being cancelled on Saturday due to a severe wind warning.

The decision to cancel the Saturday event was taken late on Friday evening – and was the first time it had been abandoned in the event’s 30 year history.

On Saturday (July 15), the forecast severe winds did not materialise fully until later in the day but the estate has reassured visitors that the event will go ahead for its final day on Sunday.
