Residents, staff and visitors at Marriott House and Lodge Care Home in Chichester held a charity coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, raising around £90.

The British charity provides financial aid, specialist healthcare services, and all different kinds of support to those living with cancer. The purpose of the coffee morning is to sit down with your friends and family and catch up with a nice cuppa for a good cause. The money raised will help Macmillan make sure no one has to face cancer alone.

Theresa Shell, general manager at Marriott House and Lodge Care Home, said: “Holding our own Macmillan coffee morning has been a huge amount of fun and everyone at the home is always keen to support this fantastic charity in any way we can. We are very glad to be able to do our bit to raise further awareness and money for the charity.”
