VIDEO: Seven people charged in new drink-driving campaign
The first arrest was made within minutes of the launch of Operation Dragonfly, the force’s month-long campaign to tackle drink and drug-driving across the county.
Superintendent Jane Derrick, the head of the force’s roads policing unit, said: “We warned everyone that we would not tolerate motorists driving after drinking or taking drugs but clearly some people do not listen to warnings.
