Fernhurst Easter egg activities
On Good Friday, the centre is holding its annual Easter egg hunt, which will invite children to follow a trail around the village by working out clues.
For £1, every entrant will have an egg and the winners in the various age groups will win bonus prizes.

Hide AdOrganisers said whatever the weather, the event is set to start at 2.30pm at the centre.
On Easter Saturday morning, from 10am-midday, the centre will be serving up free hot cross buns and refreshments.
It has invited people to come to see the various services it offers, which include neck massages, reading and poetry circles, computer clinics and a number of other different courses.
Also in Fernhurst, St Margaret’s Church is set to celebrate Good Friday with a Walk of Witness at 9.30am from the crossroads to the church, followed by the Eucharist with reserved sacrament, prayer and meditation.

Hide AdFrom 2pm-3pm there will be a vigil with the stations of the cross.
On Easter Sunday at the church, the dawn service at 6.15am is set to be followed by a hot breakfast in the parish and community room.
Also at the weekend, nearby in Lynchmere, the annual Good Friday walk will start and finish at St Peter’s Church, with a short service at 2pm.
