People in a South Downs village are being urged to act responsibly to avoid a ‘devastating’ wildfire
Storrington Fire Station said crews were called to Washington Common this morning, June 25, to a camp fire which was left overnight.
A spokesman urged people not to light fires because ‘with the current weather conditions the results [of a fire] will be devastating’
