Good news for Midhurst eye patients
The trust has donated an ophthalmic slit lamp to the centre which helps in the diagnosis of eye conditions and treatment of minor injuries. It will save patients the lengthy journey to the nearest emergency eye department at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham. Medical centre spokesman Dr Paul Fludder said: “We are very pleased to have a new slit lamp at the practice. It will make a lot of difference to our patients and enable us to deal locally with problems such as foreign bodies in the eye.” The presentation was made by trust chairman Dr Hugh Horne.
