Hell's corner just got worse
Work is due to start early in January on installing traffic lights at the Grove Lodge roundabout '“ a pivotal junction which handles both A27 and A24 traffic.
Expect weeks of further delays while the work is being carried out, but don't bet on an improvement in the A27 traffic flow once the SIX new sets of lights are in operation at the junction.

The Grove Lodge lights are part of a 9 million package to ease traffic congestion on the A27 in Worthing and Lancing.
This "improvement" scheme was originally announced back in 2001, BEFORE Transport Secretary Alistair Darling rejected schemes for Worthing and Arundel bypasses.
