Lion’s Knockout day is a roaring success for all
On Friday May 29 the Lions Clubs of Crawley, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Horsham, Henfield and Billingshurst hosted their 21st annual ‘It’s A Knockout’ competition at the K2 Leisure Centre in Crawley.
Twelve teams of up to eight participants from local day centres for people with learning difficulties took part, with the eventual winners ‘The Red Arrows’ from Outreach3Way in Ifield taking the trophy.

Lion Richard Johnson, Vice President of Haywards Heath Lions Club, who again organised the event said: “This is always a great day, I’m not sure who has the most fun – the Lions and their helpers or those taking part.
“One thing I am sure of is that we are all looking forward to coming back again next year.”
The Mayors of Crawley, Brenda Smith and Haywards Heath, Sujan Wickremaratchi together with members of Horsham Council were on hand to judge the best JOKER competition and to help with the presentations.
The Lions Clubs would like to thank all those that took part and helped to make the day such a resounding success.
