Littlehampton railway celebrations on track to impress

IT WILL soon be full steam ahead for birthday celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of the railway coming to Littlehampton.

On Saturday (August 31), the town will come alive with railway revelry to mark the special occasion.

The event, funded by Littlehampton Town Council and supported by train operator Southern, the Sussex Community Rail Partnership and Littlehampton Traders’ Partnership, will see a range of activities taking place at the railway station, in Terminus Road, and in the town centre.
