Martlets Hall will host its first Volunteer Fair on Saturday giving locals a chance to talk to over 25 local organisations and charities about their work and the opportunities they can offer.

Volunteers will range from youth workers to community café helpers, radio presenters and sports coaches.

One volunteer, who is recovering from a head injury, uses voluntary work with a conservationist charity to learn new skills which helped him return to full time employment.
