MORE BUS STOP MISERY
The pandemonium happened when Brighton and Hove buses again switched the bus stop for their 28 and 29 Brighton to Ringmer and Tunbridge Wells services.
A notice went up at the stop at the bottom of School Hill at the weekend to say the west-bound bus stop had been switched to outside Waitrose and east-bound to East Street.

'It wasn't us,' said Roger French, managing director. 'It's ridiculous to move a sign meant to help people. I hope everyone knows by now what the position is. The old stop was far from ideal. The new one is far more satisfactory'
Two months ago Brighton and Hove moved from the bus station as it was fed up with paying 23,000 a year in rental charges there.
But its choice of using the bus stop at the bottom of School Hill was highly unpopular.
People waiting for buses there crowded the narrow pavement and had no protection from inclement weather.
