New pastor wants to help town's youth
Dennis Narine , 49, became the leader of Hailsham Free Church on September 8.
He wants to link the church with other churches in the town engaged in youth work.

Hide AdSpeaking to the Express, he said: 'Young people have so much passion and can give so much to the community.
'We have got the highest single parent community in the whole of Europe.
'There is a huge need to reach out to broken families and embrace them with the love of Christ.'
Mr Narine said he wanted the church building to be a sanctuary for people in need of peace.

Hide AdHe added: 'I am trying to see if we can reach out to vulnerable people in the town.
'My belief in the God of the Bible is that he changes lives.
'He has changed my life tremendously and I am passionate about that.'
Mr Narine lives in Ringmer and he is married to Sally.
They have three sons, one daughter and seven grandchildren.
He was a visiting preacher for six years until the Hailsham Free Church asked him to become pastor.

Hide AdAnd he will study Hebrew and Greek at London Theological Seminary at the same time as leading the church.
The church runs a thriving social club for more than 16 mums and toddlers, meeting at 9.30am every Tuesday.
