Ex-pat wants to trace old friends
I will be visiting the UK in July to celebrate my 75th birthday. In fact I will be staying with a school friend in Fairlight. We will have been friends for 70 years when we started school together.
I was born in Winchelsea. After attending Rye Primary School I went to what was then Rye Secondary Modern School. In fact I was Head Girl in, I believe, 1952.
I then went to Pitmans College in Hastings. I would like to contact anybody from my school days or Pitmans days.

Hide AdMy maiden name was Alford, I was married at Winchelsea church in 1956 and my surname then was Ilbury.
I have lived in South Africa for 40 years, and have lost contact with lots of friends.
