When I asked why, I was told that the store had a no-hat policy regarding the local youths in the area. It seems that other shoppers felt threatened and intimitated. I pointed out that, whilst I was flattered at being grouped with the young ones of Lancing, I was in fact 72 years old and the only threat I posed was to my poor cat's tail as I stumble about my house. On being threatened with the manager, I left and did my shopping safely at the Co-op. What in the blue flaming blazes is going on?
