Town should be grateful
The rejection of these plans was long overdue and at last we have seen some indication of the local council acting democratically and listening to the citizens it represents - even though it has taken them several years to do so!
Let us hope that the consortium who wanted to destroy our local countryside will also see sense and refrain from taking this matter to appeal or any further.
