Pavilion bandstand hits a flat note
Under an agreement between Rother council and the voluntary Pavilion Trust which is funding the 40,000 project, a new bandstand designed with the active participation of local schoolchildren will take its place.
Trust chairman Jan Wicks said: I understand that construction of the new bandstand is underway in Bath. The process is well ahead and we hope to see it being assembled.
We are hoping to have it completed before December.
The futuristic design resembles a phonograph horn.

We hope that the children will come down and see the bandstand when it is assembled.
It should be fairly stunning and complement the De La Warr Pavilion.
