The College of Richard Collyer has again achieved strong results across A-level and vocational provision, a spokesman confirmed.

These results continue to place Collyer’s as one of the leading sixth form colleges in the country, the college said.

New Collyer’s principal Dan Lodge was extremely proud. He added: “Congratulations to all of our students, who have worked incredibly hard over the past two years with us.

“We are immensely proud of them and the achievements published today. It is important to recognise and celebrate the hard work and commitment of our students, while accepting that these results are being awarded under extraordinary circumstances.”

Deputy principal Steve Martell was also pleased with the college’s vocational success.

He added: “I am delighted to see our vocational Level 3 students rewarded with some excellent results. Expert and dedicated staff and bright, hard-working students make all the difference!”

Collyer’s chair of governors David Skipp said: “Well done everyone, in challenging times Collyer’s students and staff have acquitted themselves very professionally and achieved some excellent results.
