Pupils at Claremont School raised money for the Philippines and held a ‘Fundraising Friday’ last week.

A cake sale and a penny collection in the shape of the Philippines raised money for those affected by the typhoon.

On Friday, pupils came to school in their ‘onesies’ for a £1 donation to World Diabetes Day.

They also held a spectacular Chameleon Chase during break when, for a £1 entry fee, pupils pursued the ‘chameleon’ around one of the school playing fields.

This was to raise money for a chameleon to add to animals in the school zoology club.

In total the events have raised over £650 and the money is still coming in!
