Snowdon Sunset Trek for Worthing hospice is a way to say '˜thank you'
For Annette Mundy, who will be part of the Snowdon Sunset Trek group leaving Worthing for Wales on Saturday, it is an important way to thank the hospice for the care given to her family.
Annette, 39, will be raising money in memory of her grandfather Ed Langley, older sister Sharon Mundy and parents Margaret and Tim Mundy.

Annette said: ““I cannot begin to express my gratitude for what St Barnabas has done for me and my family as a whole. Without them, my grandpa, both my parents and my older sister would not have been given the dignity that they all deserved.
“They all received care, either within the hospice or from the Hospice at Home team. The support and warmth they give you as a family and individuals is beyond words.
“Not only did they give the care to my family that they needed in their last moments, and leading up to it, but also the care and support they have given and shown to us following this.”

Annette added: “Without support from the community, St Barnabas would not be able to provide this level of care and support to families like mine. This is why I decided to challenge myself and trek Snowdon to hopefully give something back to them.
“I decided on Snowdon as it’s something I haven’t done before, so a new challenge for me both physically and mentally, and to experience an adventure with like-minded people who share the same passion as I do for St Bs.
“I’m looking forward to being part of a team of people I have never met before who are all taking part for the same reason and hopefully feeling a sense of achievement that I am finally able to give something back for what St Barnabas have done for me and my family.”
