The enduring music hall star celebrated the occasion of his 90th birthday with what was likely to be, by his own admission, perhaps the last public outing for his impressions and music. Victor (pictured left, with a fellow-performer) made his professional debut in 1943 as part of the Morris and Cowley touring show and later branched into summer seasons and more variety. He continued to perform throughout his life, but also set up a theatrical agency with his late wife and fellow entertainer Suma Lamonte. Victor gave a small version of his old variety act in the banqueting room of the Sackville Apartments.
