COUNTY NEWS: Sussex stands united with Nice after terror attack
MP for East Worthing and Shoreham Tim Loughton retweeted multiple tweets about the attack, including the one below and a tweet from foreign secretary Boris Johnson.
Mr Johnson said: “Shocked and saddened by the appalling events in Nice, and the terrible loss of life.”

Hide AdStaff at Littlehampton fire station said: “Our thoughts are with those affected by the horrific attack in Nice & our emergency service colleagues at the scene #PrayForNice #solidarity”.
Sussex Police retweeted travel advice from the Foreign Office for people who are currently in Nice, adding that they should ‘follow the instructions of the French authorities’. Click here to read the advice.
West Sussex County Council tweeted: “Appalling scenes in #Nice. Thoughts are with all affected. If you’re worried about friends / relatives, call @foreignoffice on 020 7008 1500.”
At least 84 people, including children, have died after a lorry drove through a crowd during Bastille Day celebrations in Nice. They drove for 1.2 miles at 11pm local time last night before being shot dead by police.
