A parade containing NTC Superb, St Margaret’s School and 2nd Ifield Scouts, travelled from St Margaret’s School to The Ifield Barn Arts Centre.
This year’s May Fayre Queen, Kathryn Doggett, 14, from Ifield, lead the procession and the Queens from previous years followed her float in celebration of the 25th anniversary.
Graham Plunkett, from the Fayre’s organisation committee, said: “It was probably on of the biggest crowds we have had. We were swamped for most of the day.
“It was very pleasing for us to see so many people out and all the signs were that every body had a good time.”
