Hide AdCrawley took the lead in the 14th minute when Jason Banton took advantage of a mistake at the back and calmly beat keeper Rikki Banks.
Reds had already had a couple of chances, with Clifford testing the Worthing custodian and Bawling receiving from Lewis Young before shooting wide.
Worthing had a dangerous spell and it took some great work by Josh Yorwerth to block a double strike from Matt Hards and Ben Pope.
The Rebels then equalised four minutes before the break with a cross by Zack Newton which led to a cracking strike from the edge of the area by Harvey Sparks.
