Football League release key dates for next season

Crawley Town will kick-off their League 2 campaign in the newly-branded Sky Bet EFL on the weekend of Saturday, August 6.
However before the action starts, there will be much excitement with the release of the fixtures on Wednesday, June 22.

Hide AdThe opening round of matches will be immediately followed by the first round of the League Cup during the week commencing August 8.
While Round 1 of the League Trophy will take place during the week commencing August 29.
The Christmas period will be the usual bumper festive schedule in the Sky Bet EFL, with matches being held on Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, and on Monday, January 2.
After the League Cup Semi-Finals in January, the showpiece final of the competition will be held on Sunday, February 26, followed by the League Trophy Final on Sunday April 2.

Hide AdThe final round of games in Sky Bet League One will take place on Sunday, April 30, while the Sky Bet Championship and Sky Bet League Two will come to a close on Saturday, May 6.
