Former Burgess Hill Town star Greg Luer makes league debut AND scores first senior goal

On Saturday he came on as an 82nd minute substitute for Chubka Akpom as Hull beat Huddersfield Town 2-0.
And on Tuesday night in the Capital One Cup against Accrington Stanley, Luer again came on as a substitute, this time in the 71st minute.

Hide AdAnd after a goalless 90 minutes, Akpom gave Hull the lead before Accrington equalised.
It then took just three minutes of the second period of extra time for the Tigers to regain the lead as Ahmed Elmohamady’s cross was met by a superb header from Luer, who registered his first goal in senior football. Hull won 4-3 on penalties.
