Multiple substitutions came within ten minutes of the re-start as Pagham boss Carl Stabler looked to shake things up.
Rustington were more than holding their own, peppering Binfield’s goal with shots. Matt Wood shot at the Rustington keeper before Pearce equalised with two minutes left.
