Kayley jumps to silver
ANGMERING-based Kayley Alcorn has won the Southern Under-20 triple jump silver medal in her first year.
Two-years-older Clare Linskill of North Devon won the title at Crystal Palace on Sunday with 12.19m but her winning distance was 18cm shorter than Alcorn's personal-best 12.37m late last year.
Her coach at Worthing Harriers, Glyn Crack said Alcorn's improving form had produced a consistent set of jumps this time.
She heads on Friday for Bordeaux with the 12-strong English Schools team for the Gean Humbert Cup international.
