New sights at giant horse event
It is one of only a few occasions in the UK when visitors can see these powerful horses taking part in displays, demonstrations and a grand parade.
A continuous ringside commentary will be given this year by Sarah Rouse, a well-known figure in the horse world, as more than 40 Shires, Clydesdales, Suffolks, British Percherons and Ardennes horses are put through their paces.

During the event, the museum's Shire horses will be at work on seasonal tasks.
Ring demonstrations will also include agricultural vehicles, brewers' drays, harnessing and decoration, and there will be a colleciton of craft and trade stands.
