Thunder sign Greek power forward Frangkiskos

WORTHING Thunder Basketball Club have announced Greek power forward Amato Frangkiskos as their first signing ahead of their return season into EBL.

Frangkiskos, who stands 6ft 7in, has joined Thunder from Greek A2 side, Near East, where he recorded an impressive average of 10.2 points and 7.3 rebounds a game.

Thunder chairman Frank Gainsbury said: “We are delighted to have captured Amato to play for us this season. This is an excellent signing for the club and we are sure that Amato will fit in well with the squad.
